Cognitive Infrastructure

cognitive-interface-architecture / cognitive-infrastructure

Definition

The end-state framing of all the above: the surface of structured artifacts: system prompts, AGENTS.md files, decision logs, Ground Truth Contracts, Dependency Graphs, validation rubrics: that constitutes a mature AI interaction design environment. Cognitive Infrastructure is what you are building, taken as a whole.

What this prevents

Without Cognitive Infrastructure, AI capability is a personal skill that evaporates when the individual leaves or is distracted. Infrastructure makes it an organisational capability that persists and compounds.
