BYOP (Bring Your Own Prompt)

cognitive-interface-architecture / byop

Definition

The diagnostic discipline of taking a real prompt from your own work, running a structured audit against it using the framework's precision vocabulary, and producing a rebuilt version that corrects the identified failures. BYOP is the practice through which the framework becomes personal capability rather than abstract knowledge.

What this prevents

Learning prompt architecture from examples you did not write does not transfer to your own prompts. BYOP forces the translation: you diagnose your own failures with the framework's vocabulary, then rebuild.

The Agent Control Architecture Pack includes deployable system prompts, AGENTS.md templates, and fully-worked BYOP rebuilds that operationalise every precision term.
