Cross-Modal Anchor

cognitive-interface-architecture / cross-modal-anchor

Definition

A structured extraction of a specification's intent, requirements, out-of-scope items, and open questions, preserved as the model implements. The Cross-Modal Anchor keeps the implementation tethered to the original specification even when the implementation diverges from the expected path.

What this prevents

Architectural answer to "implementation drifted from spec." Without a Cross-Modal Anchor, the model optimises for what is immediately in front of it and loses track of constraints established in the specification document.
